Hey, I’m Kailea!

Passionate About working with Anxiety, Stress and Neurodivergence!

I’m super passionate about supporting teens and adults who are anxious, overwhelmed, or feeling low or have any form of neurodivergence. I am great at supporting those who look like they’re coping on the outside but are literally just getting by underneath it all when throws them curveballs.

A lot of the people I work with are functioning on the outside but struggling underneath. Maybe you’re getting through the day, but you’re exhausted, anxious, or disconnected. Your mind might feel like it never slows down and you kinda want it to shut up! Or maybe you just know something feels of, even if you can’t quite put words to it yet.

I want you to know therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to hold it all together. You are already doing that in your everyday life. With me you can exhale. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear plan, just bring the real you, no matter how messy, how real or how tired. I bring over 11 years of experience working in mental health and school based settings, and my approach makes space for you to take a breath, think clearly and be your authentic self. Here you can focus making sense of what is going on and figuring out which tools fit for you, because you are a unique, valued, wonderfully imperfect human and (I’ll let you in on a little something…) Me too!

Outside of being a therapist, you’ll usually find me experimenting with sourdough bread. Lately I’ve been getting a little adventurous with flavours like carrot cake or espresso chocolate… some are hits, some are very much “learning experiences.” I’m a huge animal lover and currently fostering my eighth dog, so my life is equal parts fur, chaos, and unconditional love. I could spend hours wandering thrift stores chasing the high of a good find. For self-care, I play on a dodgeball team which turns out to be excellent stress relief and I’ve recently started crocheting as my attempt at a slower, calmer hobby (progress pending).

Building genuine connections and creating a comfortable space is really important to me. If you are looking for someone who feels super easy to talk to, I would be glad to connect!

Who I'm Here to Help:
  • Adults who are tired of anxiety, low mood, burnout, or that “stuck in life” feeling that nobody talks about
  • Teens who feel like life is just a lot right now, and they’re not even sure why or need a break from overthinking.
  • People whose brains never stop, who overthink everything, or who are carrying more than anyone should have to
  • Anyone who wants tools that actually work in real life and a space to breathe, laugh, and feel seen for their awesome, authentic self.
  • Basically, anyone who wants therapy that’s human, down-to-earth, and even a little fun

Training and Experience

  • Master’s degree in counselling.
  • 11+ years working in the mental health field and school-based settings.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): I help you notice your thoughts and feelings without letting them take over, so you can focus on living a life that actually matters to you.
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): I teach practical skills to handle strong emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST): I’m trained to support people in crisis and help keep themselves safe when life feels unbearable.
  • Supporting neurodivergent children and teens: I have experience working with kids and teens whose brains work differently, helping them understand themselves, manage challenges, and thrive in their own way.

Let’s Get Started

I believe in keeping it real, keeping it kind, and even laughing when we can, because let’s face it, we’re all human!

If you are looking for support that feels comfortable and genuine, I would love to connect. We can figure it out together.

Wellness begins with connection.
